I guess it has been a couple years since we had our pictures taken. Boy, was that stressful! Trying to get matching outfits. Making the kids at least act like they like each other. Forcing the smiles, Oy! Forcing the smiles! If only it didn't have to be so stressful!

Join me in your home (must for newborns) or at a agreed upon location here in Roanoke where we can be casual and have fun! Let me capture real connections and candid interactions! Let me document your family as it truly is. Allow me to archive those fleeting moments between each other before you look back and realize that yes, things really did change.

Note: I never want you to have to choose your favorite images and I never want to restrict the images I edit and place in your gallery. My style of photography results in a collection of images that speak to your families unique beauty and connection. You session fee includes the on location session experience, usually around an hour and all the high resolution digital files from your gallery to keep for life and print and use as you see fit. Sessions can take place in your home (always for newborn) or at one of the many beautiful outdoor locations Roanoke has to offer. You will receive all the digital files, edited by me, from your session in both color and black and white, delivered by way of direct download. Your images will be displayed in a private online gallery for viewing, sharing, and optional a la carte print and canvas ordering.

Families Session
What is involved with a Family session?
A mini session is 30 minutes on location where I will capture your family as they truly are! The standard is a one hour session with double the images! My goal is to capture relationships, connections and emotions. I don't want everyone stiff and uncomfortable! Let's have fun and document everyone as they are today. You'll never regret having too many pictures...you will always regret not having enough. You'll receive heirloom quality images that you can treasure for years to come!
How many images will I receive?
In a mini session, you will receive 25 images that are hand edited and delivered via an online viewing gallery. You will be able to directly download the images. USBs and prints will be available at an additional cost.
In a standard session, you will receive 50 images that are hand edited and delivered via an online viewing gallery. You will be able to directly download the images. USBs and prints will be available at an additional cost.
When should I book you?
We recommend booking sessions one month out. We sometimes have cancellations and are available sooner, so do contact via our email: [email protected] or in the Contact form here.
What should we wear?
I've created a Pinterest board with clothing suggestions here. Coordinating or contrasting colors are always timeless, but try not to make it something you wouldn't wear on a regular basis. If you feel uncomfortable, the images will feel uncomfortable. If you need more suggestions, just chat with me!
